Chat widget overhaul. | HelpJet Changelog

The chat experience was rebuilt from the ground up, and the same chat now powers the widget, the page embed, and the chat link.

Improved: Replies stream in with a smooth animation, the transcript stays anchored while you read, and a scroll-to-bottom button appears when you are behind.
Improved: Markdown in replies renders properly: lists, nested lists, headings, and fenced code.
Improved: Sources cited in a reply are shown as a footer under the message.
Improved: Your conversation is restored when you reopen the widget, and the header menu lets you start a new chat.
Improved: Feedback thumbs have instant tooltips, the panel opens and closes with a subtle animation, and keyboard and screen-reader use was improved.
Improved: The default system prompt is better at staying on topic and now includes your company profile.
Fixed: Ordinary documentation questions were sometimes refused by the jailbreak filter.
Fixed: Previewing a bot from the dashboard always starts a fresh conversation.
